Governor Hogan, Howard County Executive Kittleman and Tenable Network Security CEO Announce Companies Expansion

Governor Larry Hogan, Howard County Executive Allan Kittleman, and Tenable Network Security® Inc. CEO Ron Gula today announced that Tenable is expanding operations in Maryland. Founded in 2002, Tenable provides continuous network monitoring to enable organizations to identify vulnerabilities, reduce risk, and ensure compliance. The company currently employs 230 workers in Howard County and plans to add hundreds of new full-time positions over the next five years.

Howard Tech Council Gets New Director

The Howard County Economic Development Authority (HCEDA) today announced that Tracy L. Turner has been named Director of the Howard Tech Council (HTC). Turner was promoted from her position as Director of Programs at the Maryland Center for Entrepreneurship (MCE), the Howard County incubator where the tech council is based.

The Howard County Economic Development Authority is proud to announce that VoMaSmart, a Maryland Center for Entrepreneurship resident company, has been awarded a contract for The 2015 Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) Road World Championships in Richmond, Virginia this fall.
