The Agricultural Marketing Program of HCEDA will work with you to find grants and financing that will help you start or diversify your agriculture enterprise. Central Maryland Women in Agriculture Forum
More women own or operate farms in Maryland. Women have not always had the resources to diversify or start an operation. The Central Maryland Women in Agriculture Forum offers them at opportunity. It covers business planning, grants and finances, marketing, value-added processing and new farm ideas.
When planning for the next generation it is important to understand not only state legislation but federal as well. What impacts will current legislation have on the next generation? Is it better to start transferring ownership of the farm now or later? These and many other questions can be answered during agriculture estate planning sessions.
