COLUMBIA, MD – The Maryland Center for Entrepreneurship (MCE) is proud to welcome a dynamic trio of community leaders to its Board of Directors.
The new board members are Charles (Chuck) P. Cullen, Chief Financial Officer at Grotech Venture Funds, Paul Capriolo, Chief Executive Officer at Social Growth Technologies Inc., and Joan Driessen, Executive Director of The Association of Community Services.
“To drive innovation in Howard County we need the support of visionary leaders and we were delighted when Chuck, Paul and Joan agreed to join our board,” said MCE Executive Director Julie Lenzer Kirk. “As an investor, an entrepreneur graduate from the MCE, and a nonprofit leader respectively, each brings unique gifts and diverse perspectives to the organization. We’re confident that our growing MCE community will be well served by our new board members.”
“The new board members are joining us at an exciting time for the MCE,” said Lawrence F. Twele, Chief Executive Officer of the Howard County Economic Development Authority. “As we ramp up our new initiatives which include 3D Maryland and the Conscious Venture Lab, their insights and experience will be invaluable assets.”
