John Harmon is a partner at Tactical Network Solutions (TNS). TNS was founded in 2007 to provide custom cyber intelligence capabilities, research, training, and expert consultation to government agencies, law enforcement, and other security-conscious commercial organizations. He has spent more than 10 years in the US Intelligence Community as an SIGINT analyst, cyber capabilities developer, technical team lead, and entrepreneur in cyber intelligence.
Mr. Harmon heads all operations for Tactical Network Solutions where he leads all federal and commercial business development, sales, capture, recruiting, and teaming efforts. These efforts have led to multiple contract awards, product sales, teaming agreements, and TNS doubling in both size and revenue for the past 3 years.
Mr. Harmon earned a Master of Science in Network Security from Capitol College and a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Auburn University.
Jeff has served in security, privacy, and risk management roles for over 20 years. He has created and led security operations, policy, engineering, consulting, risk assessments and projects teams. Jeff has served with the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) and with IT-ISAC (Information Sharing and Advisory Council), working with peer companies to identify and mitigate threats to the critical IT infrastructure. Jeff is co-founder of Maryland and Delaware Infragard.
Jeff is currently the Executive Director of Cyber Security in a large international telecommunications organization where his team develops and supports security solutions, strategy and product management that serve business areas including Application Services, Hosting, Networks, and Cloud Services for Clients around the world.
Previously, Jeff held the position of Sr. VP and Chief Security Officer at USinternetworking (USi). In addition, Jeff has been CISO of PG&E’s National Energy Group, Program Manager at BBN and NSA, responsible for network engineering at Citicorp, Systems Engineering at ARINC, and Radar engineering at United Technologies.
Jeff holds BS and MS degrees in Engineering. He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and is certified in risk and information systems control (CRISC).
Jason Taule is a 25+ year veteran of the information assurance industry who has worked in both the intelligence community and commercial sectors first consulting to Federal agencies and then serving as inside CSO/CPO both within the Government and at large systems integrators like General Dynamics and CSC. He helped create the US-CERT, authored the Maryland Data Privacy Law, led a multi-million dollar global cyber security practice for a large international consulting firm, and for the last 15 years has been a luminary in the US Health IT space supporting various OpDivs in DHHS. Jason Taule is currently the Chief Security and Privacy Officer for FEi Systems, a leading Heath IT company specializing in behavioral and mental health data solutions for federal and state governments.
Brian Burgess, Principal at iSystematics has over 15 years of experience in the security and compliance fields. His experience includes managing and developing standards for system accreditation, implementing continuous monitoring systems for federal and military organizations, and designing defensible network architectures for commercial entities. Currently he is actively working on research and development in the areas of big data, next generation intrusion detection, intelligence based security operations, and detection through analysis.
Dana Pickett is an Information Security Executive with over 20 years experience in senior management roles for Fortune 500 firms. Successful in developing risk based information security programs and solutions for financial services, fleet vehicle leasing services, mortgage services, retail and manufacturing. Experienced in managing programs for cyber security, information security, audit, and compliance with diverse requirements. Effective in communicating to executive management, various senior executive boards, and the Audit Committee to achieve sponsorship and governance. Adept at establishing relationships with business management and corporate risk management stakeholders. Trusted advisor to information security firms and organizations. Presenter at professional conferences and lecturer at academia institutions on cyber security, information security, risk management and compliance. Member of various task forces for industry and state government cyber security, risk management, and compliance initiatives.
Jerry Tabeling, principal at IDP, LLC, has over 35 years of leadership and business development experience in the information technology market. IDP (Intrusion, Detection & Prevention) was launched in 2006 to assist businesses defend against cyber-attacks by identifying and remediating vulnerabilities in their networks. His experience includes vulnerability, risk and threat assessments, penetration testing, and data security and compliance audits. As a cyber-security professional, Jerry also assists businesses develop security policies and information assurance strategies to prevent attackers from pilfering their digital assets. Prior to founding IDP, Jerry was president and CEO of DP Solutions, a premiere systems integrator in Columbia, MD.
