Monday, July 22, 2019

The Howard Tech Council (HTC) will host the 7th annual End of Summer Bash on August 27th from 5:00 – 8:00 pm backstage at Merriweather Post Pavilion. This premier networking event will feature an evening of networking, live music and merriment, with a crowd greater than 300 expected.

“The End of Summer Bash is an event that people look forward to each year,” said Tracy Lee Turner, Executive Director of the Howard Tech Council. “It has been one of Howard County’s signature business events for the past seven years and we look forward to gathering some of areas brightest and most innovative business people again this year.”

The event will be held in the backstage VIP area of Merriweather Post Pavilion. Guests will experience the area where some of the nation’s largest musical acts prepare to entertain; including the private backstage pool, dressing rooms, assembly space and the famed Merriweather stage.

“We are proud to partner with Merriweather Post Pavilion to provide our guests with access to this incredible facility,” said Turner. “Giving people the chance to stand onstage at Merriweather or lounge poolside is part of the fun of the event.”

Food and drink are included with the purchase of a ticket to the event and free local parking is available as well.

“It has been our honor and privilege to be the lead sponsor for the End of Summer Bash, since its inception many years ago,” said Paul G. Skalny, Managing Director Of Davis, Agnor, Rapaport, and Skalny. “It is a unique and fun summer event that brings together the best of those in Howard County and beyond that touch the tech community. Our attorneys have built tremendous relationships through the HTC and, in particular, at this event.”
